Description
Cycling through East Groningen, through the Sellingerveld and the valley of the Ruiten Aa. A deafening silence, ash trees, grasslands and hedgerows: here you will be completely refreshed. Also take a look at the Theater of Nature!
Ter Apel
You cycle through the nature reserve Sellingerveld along the Sellingerbeetse, three sand extraction lakes that have been created here since 1938. A little later you cycle to the mill in Ter Haar, a small post mill from 1832.
Diamonds Aa
You cycle back north via the valley of the Ruiten Aa, a wonderfully quiet area. Further on you cycle into the Sellingerbossen. Here you will find the Theater van de Natuur, a unique nature viewing hill where nature gives a different performance every day. Definitely take a look here!
