The star
The route starts from the Jaarbeurs. The establishment of this event hall has its origins in the First World War. At the time, the Jaarbeurs became the central place for trading in the Netherlands. Along the quay you then pass the large building of the Royal Dutch Mint, where Dutch Euro coins are minted. On the Leidse Rijn you will pass De Ster, a mill that is located on the only completely preserved sawmill yard in the Netherlands.
Oudegracht
The Oudegracht is a cultural-historical highlight in the Netherlands. The system of yards and wharf cellars is unique in the world on this scale! You will also see many beautiful buildings, such as Stadskasteel Oudaen. This building has very well preserved its medieval appearance. Then you walk back to the Jaarbeurs via Hoog Catharijne.
