Description
Wonderful views over the Oosterschelde, eating fish in Yerseke and discovering nice villages: this cycling day feels like a complete holiday! You can see thousands of shorebirds here from your bike. The Oosterschelde is now a national park. Nature is given plenty of space here again, so that birds can benefit from the wet and salty landscape.
The beautiful fishing village of Yerseke is one of the highlights of the route. Inland you soon come to the Zuid-Beveland Canal, which connects the Oosterschelde with the Western Scheldt. Here you will find another nice spot to get off: the beautiful gardens of the Sequoiahof.
