Description
Wonderful views over the Oosterschelde, eating fish in Yerseke and discovering nice villages: this cycling day feels like a complete holiday! You can see thousands of coastal birds from your bike. The Oosterschelde is now a national park. Nature is given plenty of space here again, so that the birds can benefit from the wet and salty landscape.
The beautiful fishing village of Yerseke is one of the highlights of the route. Inland you will soon reach the Canal of South Beveland, which connects the Oosterschelde with the Westerschelde. Here you will find another nice place to get off: the beautiful gardens of the Sequoiahof.
