The most beautiful villages of Schouwen-Duiveland

The beautiful old Burgh-Haamstede consists of two villages that have grown together. Here you will find Slot Haamstede, a national monument from the thirteenth century. Via Serooskerke you cycle to historical Zierikzee where no fewer than 568 monuments are located. It is not without reason that this fortified town has a protected cityscape! The small village of Schuddebeurs is beautifully hidden in the greenery a little further on. Via Brouwershaven and Scharendijke you cycle further through the polder and along the water, to the cozy Rennesse. Here you can enjoy the terrace of Strandrestaurant Our Seaside.
