Slot Haamstede
The beautiful old Burgh-Haamstede consists of two villages that have grown together. Here you will find Slot Haamstede, a national monument from the thirteenth century. Via Serooskerke you drive to historic Zierikzee where there are no less than 568 monuments. It is not for nothing that this fortified town has a protected cityscape!
Shaking Fair
The small village of Schuddebeurs is beautifully hidden in the green a little further on. In the Golden Age, numerous capital houses with accompanying parks arose in this hamlet. In recent decades, a forest has been created in which oaks, beeches, hawthorns and conifers alternate. Via Brouwershaven and Scharendijke you continue cycling through the polder and along the water, to cozy Rennesse. Here you can enjoy the terrace of Strandrestaurant Our Seaside. Enjoy delicious snacks and drinks here. Then you cycle on to the small-scale Noordwelle.
