Get a breath of fresh air in Forestry Westerschouwen

You cycle right through the nice village of Haamstede with the castle of the same name. Slot Haamstede, a national monument from the thirteenth century, was almost completely destroyed by a fire in 1525, after which the castle was rebuilt in the sixteenth century.
