Two birds with one stone: the lovely city of Apeldoorn and the beautiful IJsselvallei! You can easily explore the most beautiful places in this versatile area by bike.

Apeldoorn
Your route starts in the countryside, just above Twello. First you discover the village of De Vecht. You can clearly see that it has developed from the crossroads: around 1700 there was a stopping place here that was often used by traders from the emerging Hanseatic cities. You enter Apeldoorn via a beautiful rural route. You will pass the CODA Museum, where exhibitions focus on jewelry and paper art.

pancakes
Apeldoorn is a real paper city, long ago there were many paper mills here. Further along the route you will discover the seventeenth-century mill De Bouwhof, the most complete of the numerous paper mills that once milled in the water here. Then it's time for a stop at Restaurant Malkenschoten. Hungry? Here you can enjoy delicious pancakes! Back to the starting point you can spot planes and paratroopers at Teuge airport. Variety is key!
