The Varsseveldse cups
Around Varsseveld you will find many small height differences: the Varsseveldse kopps. In this landscape of cover sand ridges, fields were traditionally laid out on the high kopps. They grew higher and higher due to centuries of deep litter fertilization. Now there is a characteristic small-scale mosaic of high fields, forests, standard orchards, hedges and windbreaks.
