Walking through the green outskirts of Zwolle

Just below Zwolle you can walk surprisingly quietly through the floodplains of the IJssel. You also walk through the English Werk city park and past the Schellerberg country estate. From the dike you have a beautiful view of the floodplains and the IJssel. On the other side of the river is the Veluwe and the Hanseatic city of Hattem. From junction K57 you walk a bit on the Horreüs de Haaspad. This path is named after the pastor who was a member of the Dutch Reformed Municipality of Zwolle and of the SDAP. You will see many ditches with dams to keep the water level under control. The route ends at Landwinkel and Theetuin De Huppe.
