Walking around Schin op Geul

You soon enter the idyllic Geuldal, one of the most beautiful hiking areas in the Netherlands. From the footpath that leads you through the meadows, you have a beautiful view of the hills and villages in the area. You walk a bit through Etenaken where you see some old farms. After a small climb you have a beautiful panorama from the Keutenberg over the Geuldal where you just walked. You can easily walk back to the built-up area through the woods and meadows. You pass through the hamlet of Strucht, a former seigniory. Just like earlier on your route, you will also pass some characteristic half-timbered houses in Schin op Geul: beautiful! During your trip you will pass Brasserie Amuseer, enjoy a well-deserved snack and drink here and then continue walking the route.
