Description
This route is shaped in a figure of eight. You start at Eetcafe 't pleintje in Tienray. Then you cycle south towards the Schuitwater: a nature reserve that is formed around the remains of old Maas arms. In Broekhuizen you cross the Maas by ferry. Landgoed de Hamert is located between Wellerlooi and Arcen. You will see heathlands, fens, raised bogs and fields. The estate is part of the Maasduinen National Park. Then you cycle to Wellerlooi, between the Maas and the Maasduinen National Park. Then you cross again with the ferry and cycle via Megelsum and Swolgen towards Tienray. In Tienray you can relax at IJssalon Clevers Tienray. In the picturesque center you can enjoy the tastiest ice cream in Limburg.
