Surprising New Town

Just before Nieuwstadt you drive between the old deciduous trees of the Limbrichter Bos. In Nieuwstadt, the thirteenth-century street plan has been preserved! On the Markt you can see the former Town Hall from 1883. The Sint-Janskerk is built of marl, it originally dates from the thirteenth century.
Stein Castle
After cycling through the picturesque German towns of Millen and Tüddern, you enter the beautiful village of Jabeek in the Netherlands. In this region you can enjoy beautiful views and characteristic old farms. You can make a stopover at the cozy Gasterie Hedelfinger in Bingelrade. Just below Schinnen you drive through the beautiful valley of the Geleenbeek. It is wonderfully quiet here. Further on you pass Castle Stein where the ruins of a marl stone keep from 1200 are located, wow!
