Tour of Northeast Twente by bike

Your route starts at TOP Denekamp. First you cycle through the Agelerbroek forest area, which together with the Voort and Voltherbroek forms a beautiful stream valley. Take a break at De Stiftsjuffer at Het Stift, near Weerselo: a monastery where unmarried noble ladies were provided with a good education from the fourteenth century onwards. Ootmarsum is known as the art town of the eastern Netherlands. For example, you will find all kinds of museums and art galleries here where you can indulge yourself if you are an art lover, but the historic alleys of Ootmarsum are also worth a visit. The Singraven estate with its monumental buildings is beautifully situated on the river Dinkel. Huis Singraven can be visited with a guide, worth it because of the special collection of art, antiques and furniture.
