Tour Northeast Twente by bike

Your route starts at TOP Denekamp. First you cycle through the Agelerbroek forest area, which together with the Voort and Voltherbroek form a beautiful stream valley. Take a break at De Stiftsjuffer at Het Stift, near Weerselo: a monastery where unmarried noble ladies were provided with a good education from the fourteenth century. Ootmarsum is known as the art town of Eastern Netherlands. You will find all kinds of museums and art galleries here where you can indulge if you are an art lover, but the historic alleys of Ootmarsum are also worth a visit. The Singraven estate with its monumental buildings is beautifully situated on the Dinkel river. House Singraven can be visited with a guide, and is worth a visit because of the special collection of art, antiques and furniture.
