Description
This route takes you for a tour around the Loosdrechtse Plassen. A few kilometers after boarding you pass the Trouwe Waghter, a polder mill from 1832. From the path you have a beautiful view over the water, the reeds and the grasslands. Just past Hollandsche Rading you drive through the woods south of Hilversum. In Oud-Loosdrecht you will see many old farms and the village church from 1843. Further on you drive over the dike again along the Loosdrechtse Plassen. From the saddle you can optimally enjoy the views over the water. On the meandering Vecht you drive through one of the most beautiful regions in the Netherlands. Finally, you pass Fort Tienhoven.
