Cycling route Steenderen, Bronkhorst and Wichmond

Cycling in the Achterhoek's bocage landscape is a delight, no matter how often you return! Sometimes it seems as if this mosaic of forests, streams, and flower-filled fields was created specifically for cyclists. Along the way, you'll also pass through several charming villages in this region, such as Steenderen. Here, you can admire the 13th-century St. Remigius Church, among other sights . Further on, you'll cycle through Bronkhorst, which proudly presents itself as the smallest city in the Netherlands. Bronkhorst boasts many old buildings; take a break to fully soak up the historic atmosphere. In Wichmond, you'll pass the beautiful village church, and at the Kieftskamp Estate, you'll see the manor house dating from 1776. Just past Hengelo, you'll pass the Slotboom Tweewielers bike rental shop, and the route ends a little further on at Mini-Camping 't Bosch.
