The landscape here seems to have been specially designed for cyclists, it is so beautiful and quiet. You will also find picturesque old villages.
Green Gorssel In the countryside of Gorssel you drive through a mosaic of forests, small-scale landscapes and flowery fields and fields. It is wonderful to make miles in this quiet region. In Gorssel itself you can visit Museum MORE, which is dedicated to modern-realistic art from the Netherlands. A little further on, on the Molenweg, you will see the Noorsche Huis. This building was bought in Norway in 1913 as a construction kit.
Gelders Laren Further on you drive along the Gorsselse Heide, a former military training ground. A little further on you come through the old village centre of Almen. The village church originally dates from the fourteenth century. Just past Groot Dochteren you can take a look at Huize't Ross, a beautiful monumental country estate. The village church of Laren is a neoclassical water board church from 1835.
