Veluwe forest
You walk many kilometers through the woods. Occasionally you have beautiful views of meadows and fields. On quiet days you can sometimes see a deer darting between the bushes. What peace you experience here! Ideal for clearing your head or catching up with friends and family. Along the way you will see some characteristic farms and special buildings.

Caitwicker sand
In the nineteenth century, the Caitwickerzand was still part of a large sand drift. Due to the construction of forest, the drifting sand came to lie in the lee, so that the sand became overgrown with mosses, heather, grasses and flying pines. You can also see juniper bushes here. In the forest of Nieuw-Milligen you walk past the Air Operation Control Station, where all military flights above the Netherlands are registered.

Our monumental farm't Molentje is located in a beautiful and royal spot just outside Garderen. Why royal you may think? This farm, built in 1864, was located on the old highway from Apeldoorn to Amersfoort and was used as an inn. Many passers-by preferred not to travel through the woods in the dark and spent the night here. So is King William III. With his entourage he made a royal stopover at't Molentje.
