In the Kop van Noord-Holland it is wonderful to cycle through the vast landscape. You will soon pass the first attraction. In Sint Maartensvlotbrug you will cycle over one of the five remaining floating bridges in the Netherlands. In Callantsoog you will pass the beautiful Reformed Church from 1580. In the distance you will see the Groote Kaap lighthouse on the horizon. This steel tower is almost seventeen meters high and is still used to give signals to water traffic. Via Julianadorp you will cycle to Breezand. Here you will enjoy a break on the terrace at Eetcafe De Witte Brug, after which you will explore Wieringerwaard, a village that was once located on the Zuiderzee. You will see the Polderhuis, the first house that was built in this village in 1612!
