In and around Schoorl you will find plenty of natural beauty, but also cultural history. For example, you pass the Kijkduin, a flour mill from 1772. A little later you take a detour through the polder. In the distance you can see the Schoorlse Duinen, which you enter from junction 24. The dense forests were created in the nineteenth century because the residents of Schoorl wanted to prevent their village from disappearing under the drifting sand. In recent years, conifers have been replaced in some places by birches, oaks and shrubs. It makes your walk wonderfully varied. Just past junction 32 you can enjoy a panoramic view of the surroundings. And get some fresh air. Back in Schoorl you pass the beautiful Town Hall from 1601. And you can enjoy something to eat at Restaurant Honky Tonk.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
