Discover the nature of North Limburg

This route takes you through a number of beautiful nature reserves in the north of Limburg. You cycle through the Schadijkse Bossen, among other things. There are many sights to admire in the old church villages. After a few kilometers you cycle along the edge of the Mariapeel. This nature reserve narrowly escaped exploitation, so it has retained its rugged character. From the saddle you look out over a beautiful open heathland. Tienray is a church village also called Klein Lourdes. The church in this pilgrimage town contains a real cave with a statue of Mary. Stop off at IJssalon Clevers Tienray for a delicious ice cream! From the church you drive past the chapels in the Kruiswegpark to the conifers of the Schadijkse Bossen.
