Cycling route Tegelen, Baarlo and Panningen

This route takes you through the Limburg Peel region and along the Meuse River. Starting in Beringe, the route then continues through Koningslust and Maasbree. Just before junction 27, you'll make a detour through Dubbroek, a wooded area located in an old arm of the Meuse River. At junction 59, you'll pass De Berckt. The original 13th-century castle was demolished in 1830 and rebuilt in Italian style. You'll cross the Meuse by ferry, where you'll see the spires of St. Michael's Church. A little further on stands Holtmuhle Castle. In Tegelen, you can enjoy a delicious meal at Brasserie RACH, after which you'll cycle via Steyl back to the other side of the Meuse River. Via Baarlo, you'll cycle to the Boekenderbos and the Heldense Bossen. Via Panningen, you'll return to Beringe.
