World Heritage Kinderdijk (left at junction 19)
The 19 windmills of Kinderdijk symbolize the way in which the Netherlands deals with water. They kept the rough and moist peat area dry for a long time, which was plagued by subsidence and flooding: the Alblasserwaard. The Museum Mill and information center the Wisboomgemaal bring Kinderdijk's water management into focus.

Located in an old steam grain mill, Doetseweg 49, a unique collection of old forges, candy shops, grocer's, but also antique prams, gramophone and radio equipment.
The Waterbus
The Waterbus is a fast boat connection between the Drechtsteden. Alblasserdam has an excellent water connection with historic Dordrecht, the Biesbosch and Rotterdam

Tourist Interchange Points (TOP 's) are the perfect places to start a bike ride or a walk. In these places you can park your car for free on the edge of beautiful areas. From here you can enjoy cycling and walking via the nodes. The TOP 's are easy to find by following the signs along the roads. You can recognize the TOP by a green steel culm of 5.5 meters high.
