Experience the silence on the Veluwe

Looking for some peace and quiet? Then a day of cycling in the Veluwe is just what you need. You'll cycle for miles on paths where cars are not allowed. One moment you're cycling across rolling heathland, the next you're surrounded by fragrant conifers or stately beech trees. Just past Garderen, you can stop at De Beeldentuin/Zandsculpturen (The Sculpture Garden/Sand Sculptures). Here you'll find home and garden decorations, and you can also enjoy a drink and a snack. Next, cycle through the ancient Speulderbos forest, after which you'll visit Putten. In the Gelderse Vallei, you'll find expansive fields, old villages with authentic farms, and two beautiful nature reserves: the Kruishaarse Heide and Appelse Heide. Via Voorthuizen, you'll re-enter the Veluwe, through forests and heathlands. This region never bores!
