The Veluwe, crown jewel of Gelderland

The first kilometers you will spend some time in Beekbergen and the surrounding area. You will pass, among other things, the old church of Beekbergen, the building originally dates from the fifteenth century. In Lieren you pass the VSM (Veluwsche Stoomtrein Maatschappij) Station. On the Beekbergse Beek you can see the beautiful old Ruitersmolen. Then you cycle into the Veluwe. Here you ride for miles on cycle paths that run through forest and heath, wonderful! In the middle of the forest you drive through Hoog Soeren, which enjoys a protected village view due to its authentic historical appearance. A little later you cycle through Hoog Buurlo, a unique old agricultural settlement. On the Hoog Buurlose Heide you can enjoy the peace and quiet and the beautiful views. After getting off you can enjoy a cozy terrace at Hotel and Castle Spelderholt.
