A long walk above Denekamp

Your route starts at Pannenkoekenhuis Bolle Jan. The word Twente makes the heart of many hikers beat faster. Rightly so. You walk through an idyllic landscape where time seems to have stood still. There may be no large nature reserves on your route, but there is plenty of natural beauty to experience. You walk through the typical Twente coulisse landscape of ash trees, forests and meandering streams. Here you can still experience the tranquility of the past and the beauty of the old farmland. In Denekamp, a beautiful old town, you will find Wonderryck Twente: an experience museum and landscape center about Northeast Twente. On the Singraven estate, outside the manor house, you can also admire an ancient water mill, a coach house from 1868 and a number of tenant farms.
