A long walk above Denekamp

Your route starts at Pannenkoekenhuis Bolle Jan. The word Twente makes many hikers' hearts beat faster. Rightly so. Here you walk through an idyllic landscape in which time seems to have stood still a bit. There may not be any large nature reserves on your route, but there is plenty of natural beauty to experience. You walk through the typical Twente scenic landscape of ash trees, forests and winding streams. Here you can still experience the peace of the past and the beauty of the old farmland. In Denekamp, a beautiful old town, you will find Wonderryck Twente: an experience museum and landscape center about Northeast Twente. Outside the manor, the Singraven estate also features a centuries-old water mill, a coach house from 1868 and a number of tenant farms.
