From Hof van Eersel through nature to the Strabregtse Heide.

A tough route, almost 100 km, to the Strabregtse Hei south-east of Eindhoven, on the other side of the A 2 Eindhoven - Maastricht.
The route runs through various nature reserves, including extensive forest and heath areas such as the Leenderbos and the Strabregtse Heide.
The first part of the route is partly located in the varied landscape south of Bergeijk and then continues into Belgium, at Lommel Kolonie and Neerpelt. The route runs past the De Plateaux nature reserve and the Acherlse Kluis and then crosses the extensive Leenderbos to Heeze, a pleasant village, known for the Brabantse Dagen. After a round of the Strabregtse Hei, the return journey starts along the north side of Heeze. The area remains wooded, also in the area between Waalre and Valkenswaard. The route reaches Hof van Eersel again via Riethoven.
