from Hof van Eersel to Eindhoven Center

The route indicated here runs partly through the woods south of the A 67, crosses the Dommeldal near Waalre and then goes through one of the "green lungs" of Eindhoven, the Genneper Parken, to the Center. The Dommel and a tributary, the Tongelreep, flow through the Genneper park. It is an area with many activities, sports facilities, a farm shop with terrace and the Prehistoric Village museum, which is certainly worthwhile for those interested. 

The return route remains north of the A67. It is advisable to cut off a section between junctions 22 and 42 by not cycling to junctions 25 and 42, but following the cycle path along the Kempenbaan (follow route 25 until after the roundabout, then turn right at the large intersection). Just before the viaduct over the A67, turn left at the traffic lights, go under the viaduct and follow the route to junction 42.
