Description
The route first runs through the forest of the Kempen forestry of Staatsbosbeheer, through the small hamlet of Dalem and past the Vennenbos recreational park.
Nekkermenneke is a favorite destination, especially in spring and summer. The old farmhouse with a beautiful terrace is located near the campsite"De Achterste Hoef\\\". In addition to all variants for refreshment, Nekkermenneke also has a nice lunch menu. The remainder of the route runs through a wooded area, past the Kroonven and tavern D\\\'n Ouwe Brandtoren with all kinds of climbing activities (including a climbing tower and a tree climbing course) and over part of "De Grote Cirkel". It was constructed during the reclamation and landscaping in 1935 with the dimensions of the Place de l\\\'Etoile in Paris. During the war it was an orientation point for pilots.
