The Veluwe. Where else can you cycle through nature for hours on end? And do you find so much peace and space? This route immerses you in all that natural beauty.
Veluwe Heideschapen The Edese Heide is such a wonderfully vast heathland where you can look far around you. In flowering time it looks like a purple sea. Here you run the risk of coming face to face with a grazing herd of Veluwe Heath sheep. In the early 1950s, steps were taken to save this breed from extinction - with success.
Deelense Veld You ride for miles on cycle paths that run through forest and heath. Often there is no car or house in sight, wonderful! With Otterlo, Hoenderloo and Deelen there are picturesque stops on your route. Cycling along the Deelense Veld, you will not only see birds but also gliding in the sky. At Hoenderloseweg 10 you can visit Museum Deelen during the weekend where you can learn more about the history of the local air base.
