Enjoy the views of South Limburg

The views in the Limburg hills never get boring. This route takes you from Voerendaal through picturesque villages such as Gulpen, Wittem and Ubachsberg.

Geuldal
Well, sometimes it's a bit of a climb. But from the hilltops you have the most beautiful views of the Netherlands. Take your time to catch your breath and enjoy the breathtaking surroundings. Such as the idyllic Geuldal with its meadows, orchards and many monumental half-timbered houses. On the edge of Wijlre you can take a look at the castle of the same name from 1625, it is privately owned.

Gulping
In Gulpen you pass the striking church tower where the St. Peter's Church was once attached. The church tower dates from the thirteenth century and originally also served as a defense structure. Further on you can take a look at Wittem Castle. In Ubachsberg you drive past the St. Bernardus Church from 1841. Winthagen enjoys a protected village view. With all those centuries-old farms and the peace and quiet you find here, you imagine yourself back in time.
