Description
You set off from IJssalon Clevers Kessel. It is wonderful to walk on the Maas bank. You will see, among other things, the village church from 1873, designed by Pierre Cuypers. Further on is Villa Oeverberg from 1872. You can cross the Maas with a ferry. You pass Listening Spot 206 on the Liberation Route. The Rijkelse Bemden is a natural gravel lake with a very rich bird life. You can cross the Maas with a ferry. From the Musschenberg hill you can enjoy a unique view over the Maas valley. What a beautiful spot! You walk further north along the footpath between the meadows. After a while the path turns into a car-free road. There are still some beautiful buildings in Kessel. You will find a lot of cultural history there, and from the top you have a beautiful view.
