Description
You set off from IJssalon Clevers Kessel. It is wonderful to walk on the banks of the Maas. You can see, among other things, the village church from 1873, designed by Pierre Cuypers. Further on is Villa Oeverberg from 1872. With a ferry you cross the Maas. You will pass Audio spot 206 from the Liberation Route. The Rijkelse Bemden is a natural gravel lake with a very rich bird population. You cross the Maas with a ferry. From the Musschenberg hill you can enjoy a unique view over the Maas valley. What a beautiful spot! On the footpath you walk further north between the meadows. After a while the path turns into a car-free road. In Kessel you can see some beautiful buildings. You will find a lot of cultural history, from the top you have a beautiful view.
