Description
First you cycle along the path along the Twentekanaal. This waterway was dug in the 1930s as an employment project. Initially, the shiploads consisted of Limburg coal, but nowadays it consists of sand, gravel and salt. The route turns north and takes you to the village of Eefde. Just after junction 34 you cycle through the Ravenswaarden. This unique nature reserve is one of the best preserved Dutch meandering values. At'T Eleven O'clock it is time to get off. Enjoy a drink and a snack on the cozy terrace before you drive further into Gorssel. In the countryside you cycle on quiet roads through a mosaic of forests, fields and flowery fields. You can fully enjoy the peace and natural beauty here.
