Description
- Today you'll enjoy the Oude IJssel River, a region full of diversity. You'll cycle for several kilometers along the reed-covered banks. A beautiful path where you'll enjoy panoramic views, the rippling water, and the tranquility. On the edge of Ulft, you'll see the factory of the former DRU iron foundry. The monumental buildings now serve as a cultural center. A little further on, you'll pass Huis Landfort, a castle and estate dating back to the fifteenth century. The monumental house was extensively renovated in the eighteenth century. In Emmerich am Rhein, you'll see, among other things, the longest suspension bridge (1228 meters) in Germany. You can enjoy a breath of fresh air on the Rhine Quay. In the old city center, you'll see the St. Aldegundis Church and St. Martin's Church. Just outside Stokkum, you'll cycle past Düffels Möll.
