Description
The rolling countryside of Hoensbroek in South Limburg is a wonderful place to walk. This route takes you through the natural surroundings of Thull, Schinnen and Oirsbeek. You walk around the Mulderplas, which is part of the Geleenbeekdal. It is wonderfully quiet here to walk in the forest between the hills. Then you walk a bit up the Krekelberg. The footpath leads you along the edge of the forest, so that you can enjoy beautiful views of the surroundings. At Brasserie De Muldermolen you can enjoy a nice drink and a snack. The original Muldermolen was built around 1331. After a major renovation, the building was opened as a cozy brasserie in March 2016.
