Description
There's nothing quite like a bike ride along the coast. This route takes you along the North Sea beach, through Zandvoort, and into the greenery near Hoofddorp. The first few kilometers pass through the polders just behind the dunes. Here, you'll enjoy panoramic views and the occasional sight of beautiful, historic country houses. In the lee of the dunes, it's wonderful to pedal along. On the other side, you'll have a panoramic view of the sea and hear the crashing surf. In neighboring Aerdenhout, you'll see some of the majestic villas for which the village is known.
