Hanseatic city of Harderwijk
Less than a century ago, Harderwijk was located on the Zuiderzee. The tamed water of the Wolderwijd now laps at the city's quay. Harderwijk is a former Hanseatic and fortified city. The center, which is a protected cityscape, has almost a hundred monuments, such as centuries-old mansions. A pleasure to cycle through quietly and soak up the historic atmosphere.

Roman marching camp
In the Leuvenumse Bos you can enjoy the silence and the fresh forest air. The kilometers pass almost automatically here. On the edge of the Ermelose Heide you have a beautiful view of the surroundings. This is also where the only Roman marching camp that the Netherlands has known is located. The contours of the camp can still be seen in the landscape. The route starts and ends at Group Accommodation De Aalbertshoeve just outside Ermelo.
