Cycling through Echt, Maasbracht and Roerdalen

First you cycle to the Limburg village of Echt, a village that lies in the narrowest part of the Netherlands. Just before Linne you cycle through the Linnerweerd, one of the few remaining natural floodplains of the Meuse. On the edge of Linne you see the sixteenth-century Sint Martinus church. Just past junction 74 you cycle through the forests of the Sweeltje, here you have beautiful views of flowery grasslands and fields. You pass Geluksplek 5 Roerdalen: De Aerdmannetjes van Kasteel Aerwinkel. From the park you can take a look at the beautiful castle. A little later you cycle through the Munningsbosch, a beautiful old and quiet deciduous forest. Just below Montfort you cycle a few kilometers through the Echter Broek, an open agricultural area bordered by forests.
