Forests, Bunschoten and Blaricum

From Huizen you can make beautiful bike rides. This route takes you through the Gooise Bossen and through the old village center of Blaricum and Bunschoten. From Huizen you can cycle straight into the beautiful forests. At junction 80 you are almost at the highest point of the Gooi: the 36 meter high sand ridge called the Tafelberg. Finds in prehistoric burial mounds show that people have lived here since 2500 BC. You cycle quite a few kilometers through the beautiful Gooise Bossen. You pass the Blaricummerheide, the Westerheide and the Zuiderheide. What beautiful views you have here from the saddle! After a round through Bunschoten you cycle back along the shore of the Gooimeer. In Blaricum you cycle through the historical center that enjoys a protected village view.
