A detour to Ouddorp

You can enjoy walking at Goerree-Overflakkee. A short distance away you will find the sea, beach, dunes and the historic Ouddorp. During this walk of almost 25 kilometers you will see a large part of Goerree-Overflakkee. You start at Holiday Park De Klepperstee, a wonderful park to stay in if you want to see more of this island. Would you like to take a rest along the way? You can have lunch at Bistro Skål during your route, so that you can continue walking full of energy. During the walking route you walk along the Westduinen, a rugged landscape where there are still original dune grasslands. A little later you walk through the Kleistee, an area where all the old landscape features can still be observed: waste ground and sand banks around the fields. You walk through the polder to the Dunes of Goerree: a nature reserve where beach and forest alternate.
