Tour of Soesterduinen and Lage Vuursche

Your route starts at Restaurant Eethuis De Stoeterij. In Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park you drive in a gently sloping landscape through heathlands and deciduous and coniferous forests. This route takes you for a bike ride through the extensive and contiguous forests that surround Lage Vuursche. This means enjoying the beautiful nature to the fullest! In the Soesterduinen you will find a unique and ancient drifting dune area, good for a beautiful varied route. Fancy a special outing? Then visit the former Soesterberg air base. Where once the tires of fighter jets smoked, you can now let the wheels of your steel horse roll. In the beautifully renovated National Military Museum you will find interesting exhibitions with many historical and new weapon systems.
