Cycling in the east of Twente

Around Losser you can cycle beautifully through the Twente coulisselandscape. This route takes you through the Dinkel valley, the Lutterzand and the German Gildehauser Venn.

Lutterzand
From Losser you cycle through the tranquil valley around the Dinkel. It is unprecedentedly quiet here. If you hear anything, it is the wind or the splashing of the water. The Lutterzand nature reserve is a must for every cycling enthusiast. In the rolling landscape you cycle through forests with Scots pine, birch and oak. You also pass a sand drift. This beautiful area is still an oasis of peace.

Beautiful Losser
You will make a trip to Germany where you will drive through the forests of the Gildehauser Venn. You will pass through Overdinkel, a village where until the nineteenth century the three-country point of Overijssel, Bentheim and Münster was located. On your route you will see some characteristic old Saxon farms. In Losser you will see the detached Martinustoren from 1500, a beautiful monument.
