Cycling in the east of Twente

You can cycle beautifully around Losser through the Twente scenic landscape. This route takes you through the Dinkel valley, the Lutterzand and the German Gildehauser Venn.

Lutterzand
From Losser you drive through the tranquil valley around the Dinkel. It is unusually quiet here. If you hear anything at all, it is the wind or the splashing of the water. The Lutterzand nature reserve is a must for every cycling enthusiast. In the rolling landscape you drive through forests with Scots pine, birch and oak. You will also pass a sand drift. This beautiful area is still an oasis of peace.

Beautiful Losser
You take a trip to Germany where you drive through the forests of the Gildehauser Venn. You pass through Overdinkel, a village where, until the nineteenth century, the three-country point of Overijssel, Bentheim and Münster was located. On your route you will see some characteristic old Saxon Farms. In Losser you can see the detached Martinus Tower from 1500, a beautiful monument.
