Discover Hanseatic city Harderwijk

Zuiderzee beach
Quite soon after boarding you will pass through the historical centre of Harderwijk, an old Hanseatic and fortified city. The centre, which is a protected cityscape, has almost a hundred monuments, a pleasure to cycle through quietly. You will cycle along the banks of the Wolderwijd, a century ago the Zuiderzee beach was still here.

Staverden Estate
Via the beautiful Speulderbos and the wide Houtdorperveld you drive to Landgoed Staverden. Centuries ago this estate was built as the beginning of a city. That plan did not go through, so that Staverden is now the smallest town with city rights in the Benelux. The country house originally dates from the thirteenth century, the current version was built in 1905. In the Leuvenumse Bos you can immerse yourself in the silence before you get off again in Hierden.
