Description
From the Veenpark near Barger-Compascuum you take a cycling route through the Bargerveen and past a number of Geopark hotspots in Southeast Drenthe. These are the Veenpoort in Weiteveen, the Narrow Gauge Museum in Erica and the Collection Brands and the Koppelsluis in Nieuw-Dordrecht. Together they give you a surprising and versatile insight into the peat history of Southeast Drenthe.
