From Harderwijk to the Veluwe

Harderwijk is beautifully situated. On the one hand the edge lake Wolderwijd, on the other hand the beautiful nature of the Veluwe: here you can go in all directions. This route takes you past the most beautiful places in and around this nice old city. You start at Hotel Monopole, on the edge of the Wolderwijd in the atmospheric Hanseatic city of Harderwijk. From here you first cycle to De Essenburgh, a fairytale castle from 1652. You continue into the vast forests of the Veluwe, but also past drifting sand areas and vast heathlands. Wonderfully varied! Enjoy the peace and quiet and cycle to Ermelo. You cycle back to Harderwijk through the hamlet of Telgt.
