From Harderwijk to the Veluwe

Harderwijk is beautifully situated. On one side the border lake Wolderwijd, on the other side the beautiful nature of the Veluwe: here you can go in all directions. This route takes you along the most beautiful places in and around this nice old city. You start at Hotel Monopole, on the edge of the Wolderwijd in the atmospheric Hanseatic city of Harderwijk. From here you first cycle to De Essenburgh, a fairytale castle from 1652. You cycle further, into the vast forests of the Veluwe, but also along drifting sand areas and vast heathlands. Wonderfully varied! Enjoying the peace and quiet you cycle to Ermelo. You cycle back to Harderwijk through the hamlet of Telgt.
