Tour Castle Soelen, Buren and Geldermalsen

Then you get on to discover the vast agricultural areas, fruit orchards and historical sights around Geldermalsen. You can make a stopover at the Farm Shop Lagerweij. Further on you pass through Buren, a picturesque town that can call itself Oranjestad. Here you can see the fifteenth-century Sint-Lambertus Church where William of Orange married his first wife Anna van Buren. At De Pannekoekenbakker Buren you can grab a cozy terrace. Castle Zoelen is a picture. The original building was destroyed in 1362, the current seventeenth century house is located about 500 meters from the site of the old castle. The English-style estate can be visited. Beautiful with all those historic outbuildings!
