Your route begins at Camperplaats & Dairy Farm De Grote Leigraaf. The ancient area surrounding Twello has been inhabited for thousands of years. The village is a beautiful spot, where the wealthy from Deventer traditionally built their villas. You'll pass the Holthuis, a rectangular country house built in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. In the village itself, you can admire the fifteenth-century village church. A little later, you'll cross the IJssel River. This river is beautiful with its floodplains and the pleasant bustle of boats and pleasure craft on the water. Take a break in the Hanseatic city of Deventer, one of the oldest cities in the Netherlands. In the charming city center, you can fully enjoy the centuries-old streets and monuments. You'll cross the IJssel again by ferry.
