Cycling route Baarle-Nassau and Hilvarenbeek

Between Baarle-Nassau and Hilvarenbeek, you'll experience a day of cycling brimming with natural beauty and cultural history. It begins immediately after you set off, as you cycle through Baarle-Nassau and Baarle-Hertog. The Belgian-Dutch border here creates a tangle of enclaves and exclaves. Then it's time for nature. Through a mix of meadows, stream valleys, and vast forests, you'll cycle to Nieuwkerk. Further on, you'll pass through the Gorp & Roovert estate. In the hamlet of Gorp, you'll see several monumental farms and a beautiful hunting lodge dating from 1870. You'll also pass some lovely old buildings at the Vrijthof square in Hilvarenbeek. Via Esbeek, you'll cycle to the vast forests of De Utrecht, an estate developed for a former insurance company. After dismounting, relax on the cozy terrace at Gasterij de Grenshoeve.
