This route takes you through the polders near Abcoude, Uithoorn and Ouderkerk aan de Amstel. A beautiful landscape of sweeping views, tranquility and historic sights. Take your time to take in the beauty of this place. It is better to walk around here than to cycle, because before you know it you will be driving into the canal while admiring a building. From Abcoude you can cycle straight into the polder. You drive for miles over the dike along the river. You will see beautiful farms along the way. Via the Amstel you drive to the old center of Ouderkerk aan de Amstel. Here you will find a beautiful piece of Dutch cultural history.
