Description

You will find plenty of beautiful old towns along the Limburg Maas. First you discover Ronkenstein. Thanks to the eighteenth-century buildings, you can imagine yourself going back in time here. Further on you pass through Steyl. There are several sights here, such as the neo-Gothic St. Rochus Church from 1866, which houses the Limburg Schutterij Museum. You drive north along the Maas. From the path you have a beautiful view of the river and the floodplains. You can get off at Eetcafé de Elze on the other side. Enjoy a drink and a snack on the cozy terrace before cycling to the small-scale nature reserve Romeinweerd. You will pass De Berckt Castle, in Baarlo you will see D\\\'Erp Castle. The most beautiful castle has been saved for last: it is De Keverberg, which is located in the picturesque Kessel.
