Those who like to take a long walk through nature, can indulge themselves on this route. You can walk straight into the woods and dunes from the edge of Bergen. Take some provisions with you for the road, because you will not encounter many catering establishments.
The Dutch dunes along the North Sea are among the most beautiful in the world. You can also enjoy this beautiful Dutch natural gem on this route. You walk through quiet dune forests, along heathland and through drifting dunes. The landscape is sloping now and then, but with so much beauty around you, it hardly takes any effort to advance along the shell path. In the lee it can be wonderfully quiet, you only hear the wind and some birds. This is how walking is meant to be.
Bergen by the Sea
