Description
During this short walk of over 10 kilometers you walk through and around the cozy Rockanje. This village on the South Holland island of Voorne-Putten is located on the North Sea and you can enjoy beautiful walks through Voornes Duin and along a bird-rich swamp. The walk starts at restaurant De Jongens, which is located on the village square of Rockanje. Start the walk with a cup of coffee and something tasty. After a kilometer of walking you will pass the Rockanje, a flour mill from 1718. During this walk you will walk through the polder behind the dunes. The last part of the walk takes you through Voornes Duin, one of the richest dune areas in Western Europe.
